David Radcliffe inducted into Business Travel Hall of Fame
Hogg Robinson Group, the international corporate services company, is proud to confirm that its Chief Executive, David Radcliffe, has been inducted into the BTN Group Business Travel Hall of Fame.
The Hall of Fame honours a select group of the travel industry’s most influential executives who help shape today’s business travel landscape and create legacies of achievement. The induction took place at a gala dinner in New York on 4th December and was celebrated by over 250 of the global travel industry’s leading executives who paid tribute to those being inducted, reflected on their accomplishments and looked at the future of business travel.
Radcliffe was inducted into the Hall of Fame by Gordon Wilson, the President and CEO of Travelport, who adds: “This is a thoroughly well-deserved honour for David and I know that all of the team at HRG are thrilled for him. How many global travel industry CEOs are there who have been in the role for over 20 years, have successfully managed their companies through all the changes, challenges and opportunities that have beset the industry and moreover have done so in David’s case for the last 11 years under the scrutiny and demands of the public markets? My heartfelt admiration and congratulations.”
David Radcliffe comments: “I am humbled and proud to be a member of the Business Travel Hall of Fame. I accept the award on behalf of my many HRG colleagues around the world. I’ve always maintained that our people are exceptional and truly set us apart as a business. It is their consistent commitment, loyalty and passion for the business and our clients that enables me to accept this honour. My thanks go not only to BTN Group but also to each and every HRG colleague I am privileged to work with.”
“I am also very proud that the only other British recipient of this honour was Sir Colin Marshall, Lord Marshall of Knightsbridge and long-serving Chief Executive and Chairman of British Airways. I was always inspired by Sir Colin and admired him for many years as a visionary leader of our industry.”
