Integration of HRG Online

Our client is a major banking group. The group required a single, integrated online booking tool which would help achieve significant savings and increased efficiency.
HRG proposed implementation of a bespoke online booking solution which would simplify travel and reduce cost. However, a number of hurdles such as legacy accounting structures and some internal communication issues needed to be overcome.
Together with the client we created a project team with a project manager including the involvement of key stakeholders from both parties. A project plan was devised including a ‘Go Live’ date for implementation of the new solution.
While work began to address the legacy accounting structure and other technology issues, a communication plan was also created to feedback regular updates to travellers to help prepare them for the changes.
The integrated HRG Online v8 solution was launched successfully on time. Uptake was evident from day one and adoption growth was immediate, reaching the high 80’s within weeks.
Planning was a critical factor in the success of the project. Our client was simultaneously working through other major integration projects, and HRG was required to dovetail accordingly.
A clear project and communication plan also helped to keep everything running smoothly while on site and virtual training played a major part in the successful adoption levels.
