Stewart Harvey - Group Commercial Director
Stewart Harvey was appointed to the HRG Executive Board as Client Management Director in September 2008. In his current role he has overall responsibility for multinational managed clients on a global basis reporting to HRG’s Chief Executive David Radcliffe.
His career in the travel industry began in 1975 when he joined Denholm Travel. In 1986, after 11 years with the company, Stewart moved to Britannic Travel where he remained until he took up an appointment as Operations Manager with HRG UK (then known as BTI UK) in Glasgow four years later.
Stewart has since held a number of increasingly client-focused roles within HRG. Most recently this included his appointment as Director of Client Management (from January 2003) with responsibility for business and account management within the UK, as well as working across borders to formulate and develop innovative management centres and international servicing configurations for clients. Notable achievements during his time with the Company include:
- Designing global client management business units
- Establishing pan-European service propositions
- Implementing multi-country service developments.
Originating from Glasgow, but now living in Wiltshire with his wife, Stewart is a keen ‘foodie’ who enjoys reading and listening to music (rock and jazz). He has three children.
