HRG (Hogg Robinson Group) has announced the appointment of Spencer Smith (currently Director, HRG Consulting) to a new role of Director, Corporate Services Solutions which will require him to take specific responsibility for the sales strategy of value added services and products to major corporate prospective clients.

Reporting to Les Middleditch, Group Sales Director, Spencer will work closely with the HRG Sales Executive Team to identify key business opportunities and develop new solutions.

Commenting on Spencer’s new appointment, Les Middleditch said: “Spencer is a first class sales leader.  His excellent credentials and aptitude for consultative selling at a senior level make him the ideal candidate for this newly created position. He has been appointed to this role on the basis of his proven track record in developing and growing the Consulting business and I believe he has all of the qualities required to develop HRG’s value added sales proposition in a global environment.“

The development of this new position reflects HRG’s proactive response to market changes.  Commenting on his new role, Spencer said: “The traditional TMC model is changing as clients increasingly require a greater level of consultancy, and more flexibility in the choice of products and services available. I look forward to the challenge.”
