Five HRG UK employees were commended at a special event hosted by Hogg Robinson Group (HRG)’s Chief
Executive, David Radcliffe. The occasion marked each employee’s completion of 25 years service with the international corporate services company.
The special celebratory lunch, held annually for staff achieving the employment milestone, took place recently at
Tylney Hall, a Grade II listed country house in Hampshire.
David Radcliffe commented: “I am very proud to host this occasion for a group of people that have given so much to our Company over the last quarter of a century. Their loyalty, commitment and dedication are testament to the culture and ethos of HRG and the value that we place upon our people.”
The employees recognised for achieving 25 years’ service were: Gary Noonan, Manager - Fare Audit Bureau in Manchester; Mark Barnard, now a Receptionist at one of HRG’s London offices who started with the Company as a Rail Clerk; Linda Rutherford, Service Support Consultant in Farnborough; Martin Blackley, Head of Operations based in London and Ralph Boorman, General Manager in London. A sixth employee, who had also attained the milestone but who was unfortunately unable to attend the celebratory lunch, was Fred Mason, a Consultant at HRG’s 24 Hour Support Service operation in Woking.
David Radcliffe continued: “In today’s society, where the concept of a ‘job for life’ no longer exists, there remains an engaging and rewarding long-term career for those in our Company willing to accept change and
adapt accordingly. In the UK almost a quarter of our employees have more than ten years service, and some 60 of us, including me, have been with HRG for more than 25
and even 30 years.
“Although everyone in the Company works very hard to provide superior levels of service to our clients, we do
encourage all of our employees to participate in a variety of activities such as our Interchange Programme,
Powerboating on the Solent and providing practical support overseas for our special charities, each of which provides a unique work-life experience and hopefully makes their career of working for Hogg Robinson Group even more enjoyable.”
