HRG Strengthens Events & Meetings Management Team

Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the international corporate services company, has made two key appointments within its UK Events & Meetings Management division. The strategic hires closely follow the appointment of Reto Bacher to the newly created global post of President, Events & Meetings Management and Sports, which was announced last month. All three appointments build upon HRG’s established position as a market leader within the events and meetings management sector and a supplier of corporate travel related services.

David Battley joins HRG as a Director within the international and the UK Events & Meetings Management team.  David was formerly the Managing Director at Events by Appointment and a main Board Director of The Appointment Group where he worked for 11 years, overseeing high profile events for many famous clients and corporations within the music, media and entertainment world.

HRG has also appointed Robert Bailey as an International Events & Meetings Management Sales Manager.  Robert joined HRG following a six year career with Talking Point where he delivered a comprehensive range of events and meetings management solutions for a wide variety of high profile clients.

Both appointments are based at HRG’s office in London but will work with over 100 people in Leicester and Hythe who work across HRG’s Events & Meetings Management business.
