Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has been awarded the contract to provide Interpublic Group with corporate travel management services across Europe. The multi-million Euro per year account, covering Interpublic’s interests in UK, Germany, France, Spain and Italy, will commence before the end of 2007.
Interpublic Group comprises several hundred communications agencies around the world that deliver custom marketing solutions to their clients. Interpublic agencies cover the spectrum of marketing disciplines and specialties and include some of the world’s best known and most innovative communication specialists, such as Draftcb, Lowe Worldwide and McCann Worldgroup.
HRG will provide Interpublic with a complete travel service covering hotel, air, rail and car bookings. The contract was awarded to HRG following a competitive pitch and a decision by Interpublic to consolidate its existing local market corporate travel management arrangements. Until awarding the contract to HRG, Interpublic was serviced by a different travel management company in each European country.

Commenting on the new contract, Fran McClarnon, Interpublic Group’s Director of Global Travel & Corporate Credit Card Services said: “Our travel programme is far from typical and the very nature of our business means that travel levels are not predictable each month. The priority for our travel management programme is to focus on cost savings and increased service levels which HRG will supply.”
