Hogg Robinson Group (HRG) has kicked off its preparations for the UEFA EURO 2008™ football finals that will take place in Austria and Switzerland next June. The corporate services group is due to provide Events & Meetings Management services for 5,000 corporate guests throughout the tournament as well as managing the travel and accommodation arrangements for the German national football team.

The successful teams reaching the finals of UEFA EURO 2008™ will be individually responsible for organising their own travel, accommodation and base camps.  Lying top of its qualifying group after seven games, the German team is hotly tipped to qualify for the EURO 2008 football finals and building on its experience of managing the German national side’s travel arrangements, HRG has already secured training and base camps for the German squad for the duration of the three week tournament. 

As previously mentioned, HRG has also been appointed by a global financial institution to handle the travel, accommodation, transportation and client hosting services for approximately 5,000 corporate guests.

HRG’s service provision at UEFA EURO 2008™ follows its successful involvement in the 2006 FIFA World Cup™ where the Group handled hotel reservations for a record one million guests during the tournament.  It also looked after the travel and accommodation for the 32 participating teams as well as officials, sponsors and many other VIPs.
