HRG’s Meetings, Groups and Events strategy responds to evolving market needs

Hogg Robinson Group (HRG), the award-winning international corporate services company, has further developed its worldwide service for meetings, groups and events in light of the market’s changing landscape. The approach directly responds to corporate demands and simplifies the company’s services in order to increase clients’ control of expenditure.

The strategy breaks down HRG’s already successful Events and Meetings Management offering into three distinct elements of service: Meetings, Groups and Events. This makes it easier for clients to understand the lines of separation between services and helps them focus on the most manageable aspects of meetings on both the global and local level.

On the global level, HRG Meetings delivers strategic management programmes and venue sourcing for meetings and conferences of any size. HRG Groups helps clients to book cost effective air and hotel arrangements for people travelling together and coordinates reservations for individuals travelling to the same event from multiple departure points. Meanwhile, HRG Events handles project management for content, theme, design, production and on-site support on a local country by country basis. Altogether, HRG Meetings, Groups and Events will initially leverage its 350 meetings experts across 25 major markets and existing management capabilities to offer a unified approach. The initiative will then continue to roll-out on a phased basis across all HRG countries during 2012.

As meeting and group services are intrinsically connected to corporate travel, HRG is able to draw upon its existing international expertise, experience, technology and supplier relationships to bring valuable benefits to clients. HRG Meetings and HRG Groups are designed to integrate with clients’ overall travel programme, delivering total control of spend through greater policy compliance, data reporting, traveller tracking and supplier consolidation. HRG Events works alongside the other divisions to provide complementary specialist solutions on the ground.
